What to Expect
Experience expert exfoliation at Lilac Aesthetic. Here is how we reveal your new skin.

Prep & Cleanse
We thoroughly cleanse and degrease your skin to ensure even penetration. A barrier balm is applied to sensitive areas (like the corners of the nose/eyes) for protection.

Application
The customized chemical solution is applied. You may feel a slight tingling or warming sensation as the active ingredients begin to exfoliate the upper layers.

Neutralize & Soothe
Once the desired depth is reached, the peel is neutralized or removed. We finish with cooling serums and SPF to protect the fresh skin.

Reveal
Over the next few days, your skin may gently flake or peel. Once this subsides, your complexion will appear smoother, brighter, and more even.
Clinical Protocol
Optimizing Controlled Exfoliation & Dermal Regeneration
Preparation
Active Ingredient Cessation
Discontinue the use of Retinol (Vitamin A), Tretinoin, and all exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA) for 7 days prior to prevent dermal burns.
Photosensitivity & UV Prep
Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for 2 weeks prior. We cannot treat sun-stressed skin.
Mechanical Integrity
Refrain from facial waxing, threading, or abrasive physical scrubs for 1 week. The epidermal barrier must be structurally intact.
Pre-Peel Priming
For deeper peels, our specialists may recommend a pigment-suppressing cream to lower the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Aftercare
The Non-Intervention Rule
As your skin begins to peel or flake (usually on day 3–5), strictly do not pick, peel, or scrub the skin to prevent permanent scarring.
Strict UV Shielding
Your skin is temporarily devoid of its protective outer layer. Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily and avoid direct sunlight for 14 days.
Barrier Support
Focus on gentle and bland skincare for 7–10 days. Use only lipid-replenishing moisturizers and non-foaming cleansers.
Thermal Restrictions
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for 48–72 hours to prevent localized edema. No swimming for at least 1 week.
